Kosmos v1.6 is here
The new version offers following enhancements:
- Now you can see ways and/or nodes which haven’t been covered by the rendering rules. This can help you a) improve the rules, b) identify OSM data that is not tagged. More on this on my yesterday’s post.
- Kosmos now has a limited support for rendering sea in its (true?) color. This feature only works if your OSM data consists solely of one or more islands. Coastline ways of each island have to be connected so that an island polygon can be generated by Kosmos. If these conditions are not met, the sea will not be color-filled. I should also stress that relief shading still shades sea areas – expect improvements in future versions.
As always, visit the main Kosmos page for download and other links. Have a nice mapping day!
