GpsTrekker - my (almost) forgotten project
6 months ago I was busy developing GpsTrekker, an application for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. But then I joined the OpenStreetMap community and forgot about GpsTrekker. It was still in very early phase, but you could load your GPS tracks data and show various elevation contours with it (see image above).
So this is kind of a reminder post for me :). Maybe I’ll include features of GpsTrekker into the Kosmos application (or some Kosmos extension) in the (distant?) future.

Do you think it’s possible to release the source of the GpsTrakker if you could still find it
?
Me and my frinds are realy searching for an cycling tool and GpsTrakker looks great. Maybe we can “finish” it.

Hello Alex,
I uploaded the code to the http://downloads.igorbrejc.net/osm/gpstrekker/ directory, but to tell you the truth I’m not too sure what state it is in :). But the program itself is far far from any “final” release, so don’t expect too much. Anyway, I plan to add GpsTrekker stuff as an extension of Kosmos GUI, so I guess if you wait long enough, you’ll be rewarded.
